5+ Channel Integrations — Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, Teams
Connect your AI agent to every communication platform your team uses. One-click OAuth setup for each channel.
Your Agent, Everywhere Your Team Works
An AI agent that lives only in a dashboard is an AI agent nobody uses. The real value comes when the agent is available where your team already communicates — in Slack channels, Discord servers, Telegram groups, WhatsApp threads, and Microsoft Teams conversations.
KiwiClaw supports five channel integrations out of the box. Each one uses OAuth for setup — no bot tokens, no webhook URLs, no API configuration. Click, authorize, and the agent is live.
Supported Channels
Slack — The most popular integration for teams. The agent responds in channels and DMs. @mention it to ask questions, request research, trigger workflows, or have it summarize long threads. Perfect for internal Q&A, research requests, and team automation.
Discord — Ideal for communities, gaming, education, and customer support. Deploy the agent as a bot in your Discord server. It responds in channels, handles support questions, and can moderate discussions. Great for EdTech (tutoring bots), e-commerce (customer Q&A), and community management.
Telegram — A personal AI assistant in your pocket. The agent responds to messages in Telegram chats and groups. Popular with solo users who want quick access to their agent on mobile — ask research questions, get summaries, trigger tasks from anywhere.
WhatsApp — Connect the agent to WhatsApp for business communication and customer support. Particularly useful for markets where WhatsApp is the primary communication tool. The agent handles customer inquiries, sends information, and escalates complex issues.
Microsoft Teams — For organizations that run on the Microsoft ecosystem. The agent integrates with Teams channels, responding to messages and automating workflows within the Microsoft 365 environment.
Use Cases by Channel
- Slack: Team productivity — "Research the top 5 CRMs for mid-market companies and compare pricing." The agent researches, compiles data, and posts a structured comparison in the channel.
- Discord: Community support — Customers ask product questions in your Discord. The agent answers from your knowledge base instantly, 24/7. Complex issues get flagged for human follow-up.
- Telegram: Personal assistant — On the go? Message your agent: "Summarize today's Hacker News front page." Get a digest in seconds on your phone.
- WhatsApp: Client communication — Clients ask about project status, deliverables, or timelines. The agent pulls from your project data and responds instantly.
- Teams: Enterprise workflows — Employees ask the agent for policy information, request data, or trigger internal processes — all within Teams.
How Setup Works
- Open the Channels page in your KiwiClaw dashboard
- Click the channel you want to connect (Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, or Teams)
- Follow the OAuth authorization flow (select workspace, grant permissions)
- Configure which channels or groups the agent can access
- The agent is live immediately — send a message to test
Total setup time: under 60 seconds per channel. No developer experience required. No code to write. No tokens to manage.
Multi-Channel Context
When your agent is connected to multiple channels, it maintains separate conversation contexts for each one. A conversation in Slack does not bleed into Discord. Each channel has its own thread history, so the agent responds appropriately in every context.
You can also configure different behavior per channel. For example, the agent might respond to any message in a support Discord channel but only respond when @mentioned in a Slack workspace. Channel-level permissions give you full control.
FAQ
Which messaging platforms does KiwiClaw support?
KiwiClaw supports Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Microsoft Teams. Each integration uses OAuth for one-click setup — no bot tokens or webhook URLs to configure manually. More channels are added regularly.
Can the agent be connected to multiple channels at once?
Yes. A single agent can be connected to Slack, Discord, Telegram, WhatsApp, and Teams simultaneously. Messages from all channels go to the same agent, which maintains separate conversation contexts for each channel.
How do I set up a channel integration?
Go to the Channels page in your KiwiClaw dashboard, click the integration you want, and follow the OAuth flow. For Slack, this means authorizing the app in your workspace. For Discord, you add the bot to your server. The process takes under 60 seconds for each channel.
