Connect Your AI Agent to Microsoft Teams
Bring an AI-powered assistant to your Teams workspace. OAuth setup, enterprise-ready.
What It Does
Your KiwiClaw agent integrates directly with Microsoft Teams, appearing as a bot that team members can @mention in channels or chat with directly. The agent can answer questions, search the web, run code, process data, and automate workflows -- all within the Teams interface your organization already uses.
For enterprises, this is particularly valuable because it brings AI agent capabilities into the existing IT-approved communication platform. No new tools to deploy, no new security reviews for a separate AI chat interface.
Setup Process
- Open the Channels page in your KiwiClaw dashboard
- Click Connect to Microsoft Teams
- Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and authorize the app via OAuth
- Your Teams admin approves the app (if required by your org policy)
- The bot appears in Teams -- @mention it in any channel or start a 1:1 chat
The OAuth flow handles all permissions automatically. No Azure Bot registrations, no manifest files, no app sideloading.
Example Use Cases
- Enterprise knowledge base -- "What's our policy on remote work?" / "Where do I find the Q4 budget template?" The agent answers from your organization's knowledge base and documents.
- Meeting prep -- "Summarize the key points from our last board meeting notes and identify action items that are still open." The agent processes documents and returns structured summaries.
- IT helpdesk assistant -- Deploy the agent in your #it-help channel to handle common questions: password resets, VPN setup, software installation guides. Reduces ticket volume by handling tier-1 requests automatically.
Enterprise Features
The Teams integration is designed for enterprise environments. Combined with KiwiClaw's RBAC, audit logging, and data residency options, it provides a compliant way to bring AI agent capabilities to large organizations. Your IT team maintains control over permissions, data access, and usage policies.
